DESPECTIFY is a 2D side-scrolling looter shooter. Gain levels, skill points and cosmetics by shooting and ducking your way through the city.

This is a demo version of the game as it did not get turned into a full product through Kickstarter. If you want to download and play it, I'm really glad and thank you, but don't be enraged when content is missing or bugs occur.

In-game tutorials teach the game mechanics alongside you discovering them.

Dodge enemy attacks by ducking.

And strike back when the time is right!

And open lootboxes you get by playing, to stack up your skillpoints.

So be sure to give the skillshop a visit!

Or just try your luck at the boss.

While you are playing, you can find out more about the characters by talking to NPCs.

And advance in the story during cutscenes.

About the game:

Synapsis:

A mega-corporation called Denton Inc. has bought your home planet and owns everything - cars, houses, insurances. It is led by your father who you have never seen before, and the goal of you as well as a small group of fighters is to reach him in an attempt to stop him.

You (the player):

That's you, only referred to as Kiddo. You're the son of Denton and you joined the fighters to stop him.

Lyna:

That's Lyna. She's the main delivery driver of the fighters force and is tasked with bringing you to their base.

Greep:

That's Greep. He is the only one that knows the layout of the main Denton bases and thus is very important for the operation.

Leon:

That's me! I'm not playing a huge role. But I'm in charge of Operation Kiddo. So that's kind of a huge burden but I think it's okay! ^.^
